Aimed at girls aged 11 to 14 (8P and CO) in the Geneva region, this unique day allows them to explore the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). in a practical and fun way.

Each edition brings together around 400 participants. Each participant chooses and takes part in two interactive workshops from among more than twenty on offer, led in French and English by around 120 passionate professionals – mostly women – working in science and technology. They share their career paths, training and experience, providing inspiring role models and paving the way for new vocations.

The Discovery Fair completes the experience with around twenty stands and privileged exchanges with experts who live their passion on a daily basis.

Nearly 80 volunteers also contribute to the success of each edition. Without their commitment and energy, the event could not take place. We are delighted to welcome among them young women who once participated as attendees—a beautiful illustration of the lasting impact of Broaden Your Horizons.

Entirely free of charge, including lunch, the event is made possible thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and partners.

Elargis tes Horizons is much more than just a day: it is an opportunity to inspire, build confidence and show that science and technology are exciting, accessible and promising.
