Science events and outings
Elargis tes Horizons Genève (ETH) is a non-profit organisation that aims to offer young girls inspiring activities in the fields of STEM – science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Wednesday Science Outings
Every year, we organise around ten scientific activities or visits to places of interest in the Geneva region. These outings, usually held on Wednesday afternoons, are aimed at girls aged 10 to 18. For some activities, however, the age range may be adjusted depending on the theme.
Biennial event
The biennial Elargis tes Horizons event invites girls aged 11 to 14 (8P and CO) from the Geneva region to enjoy an immersive day dedicated to discovering science and technology, with over forty workshops and interactive stands.
More than forty interactive workshops and stands , offered in French and English, are led by professionals working in STEM fields, the majority of whom are women.
Free of charge thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, the event brings together 400 participants, and shows that science and technology are both accessible, hands-on, and exciting.
